The Apolena chalet is a favorite destination of those, who love winter and all the winter pleasures connected. You can find it in the centre of the village Haj near Loucna pod Klinovcem, which is just on the Czech-German border.
Apolena is situated in 900 m above sea-level, which not only offers a breathtaking view over the snow-covered panorama of Krusne hory, but also grants enough of snow on the downhill courses and tracks during the winter season.
The close neighborhood of the village and ski resort Klínovec, Fichtelberg, Boží Dar and Neklid offers many self-realizations for the fans of all kinds of winter-sport.
After the opening of the Czech state borders, the possibility for visiting the ski zones on both sides (Czech and German) is much easier now, and we can surely expect their further closer connection in the future.
The Apolena chalet came through the complete and difficult reconstruction in 2007. Nevertheless, its owners managed to retain the authentic atmosphere of the building, which has been built two centuries ago and traditionally belongs to the local color.
